PARKFIELD GETAWAYS – the relaxed way to progress your horsemanship!
2 day breaks with your horse at Terri’s yard nestled at the foot of the Southdowns near the village of Hurstpierpoint. Any level catered for. Focus on your horsemanship and having fun in a less structured way than a clinic.
Outcomes can include specific goals, trouble shooting, or working toward longer term plans. Lessons can include groundwork, liberty work and ridden. We have a fun play field with small jumps and a variety of obstacles to play with including a bank, purpose built gate, logs, bridge, see-saw, low branch obstacles, curtain and round pens.
This is an ideal opportunity for exposing young horses to new environments with no
pressure, or for building confidence in horse and human in different situations and open
Being situated on a bridleway, there is a perfect opportunity to go for a ride on the South Downs or even a short stroll out with your horse in hand.
What you get:
Individual or small group lessons each morning and afternoon.
Watch and learn from other lessons.
Use of playfield, arena and round pen for self practice. Or take advantage of the fantastic hacking directly onto the South Downs at Wolstonbury Hill and go for a hack.
Map can be provided.
Free outdoor grass pens for horses.
Tea/coffee/cold drinks provided

Premier Inn and Travel Lodge located 10 minutes away in Burgess Hill and other B&B, hotel and camping options are available in the villages of Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks and Henfield.
Electric hookup for lorries (2 max) can be provided on a first come first served basis @£10 per night.( NB no shower facilities). Kitchenette includes fridge/freezer/microwave.
